DD to Air ’89 ‘Circus’ Featuring Shah Rukh Khan

The Bollywood’s King Khan is all set to rock the small screen once again with the return of his famous ‘Circus’ TV show. The 1989 Television Show Circus will showcase on India’s Doordarshan National Channel starting on February 19, 2017, at 8 pm in the evening. The Public Broadcaster Tweeted – “Good news for @iamsrk Fans – DON’T MISS @iamsrk’s #Circus – Popular TV Series (1989) – From 19th Feb at 8 pm only on @DDNational.” The national channel decided to bring back the popular TV show after so many years as several viewers requested to do so.

Supriya Sahu, the Director General of Doordarshan National said, “We are considering having a dedicated half an hour time slot on which popular programs and content from Doordarshan’s archives may be shown. Click this site There has been a stream of requests related to many of these programs which are fresh in people’s minds even today.” In this Circus TV Show, the Raees Hero plays the character of Shekharan who is a circus owner in Malayalam or Kerala.

This TV show called ‘Circus’ revolves around the lives of those people who work inside the circus. The show also features many Bollywood stars who were famous faces back then. Some of the actors and actresses who are starring in the show include Ashutosh Gowariker, TV personality Renuka Shahane and Mita Vashisht to name a few. As of now, Ashutosh Gowariker is a famous TV producer and Shah Rukh Khan is a popular Bollywood star with a massive fan following.
